As a speech and voice coach, Katina works with a variety of clients to improve their presentation skills, including business executives, lawyers, actors, educators, and others who engage in public speaking. She draws from years of experience as an actress, teacher, voice-over artist, advocate, and public speaker.

In addition to her work as a speech and voice coach, Katina has had an extensive career in voice-over and narration for more than 20 years. A fifteen-year client of the William Morris Agency, she has recorded radio plays for WNBC, narration for National Geographic, promo work for Dateline NBC, political satire for "Soundbites" on National Public Radio, comedy sketches for HBO, numerous independent documentaries and industrials, and hundreds of commercials. Commercial clients have included IBM, Estee Lauder, Mercedes, GE, Caress, Dupont, and many others. Katina has broad experience as a public speaker in a wide variety of forums, including numerous media interviews, public hearings, and speaking engagements. As an advocate on social issues, she has worked with groups such as New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, the New York Civil Liberties Union, and the Coalition for the Homeless. Her advocacy work has been profiled in a two-part story in the New York Times and many other publications. She has appeared as an advocate and spokesperson on Oprah, WNYC, and Court TV.

A theatre major at Indiana University, Katina came to New York City to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse with Sanford Meisner, William Esper, and William Alderson. She continued studies with Suzanne Shepherd, Zoe Caldwell, and Stella Adler and completed her speech and voice training with Robert Neff Williams of the Juilliard School. She graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program at Fordham University with a BA in Communications: Media, Culture & Society.

She has served on the faculty of the Speech and Voice Departments at both the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, and has been on the faculty of the Vocal Production & Speech department at the American  Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA) since 2019. In 2021 she joined the faculty at the Neighborhood Playhouse as a speech and voice teacher. Katina is a regular teaching guest at CUNY where she designs and delivers a variety of workshops. She is a member of VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association), SAG and AFTRA.

Her work as an actress has included plays by Shaw, Chekhov, Euripides, and Shakespeare as well as contemporary pieces. As a performer, Katina has worked in radio, television, film, and on the stage, including projects at Lincoln Center, the Radio City Music Hall, the Museum of Television and Radio, The Great Hall at Cooper Union, and the Actors Studio where she was directed by Norman Mailer.
